DO NOT USE!!!

Adamant about an initial £500 startup cost just to have a conversation. After wasting an hour of your time explaining they send you another bill for £1000 to just write a letter.

Biggest frauds out there!

UPDATE:

Have been sent an email from them stating that I am not entitled to a refund and are now threatening me for leaving my honest review with them.

Not something a reputable company would do in my opinion.

Extremely Poor Advice – Avoid

We approached Altion Law to help us fight a case where a company unfairly demanded a large sum of money from us as guarantors on a business plant lease. Unfortunately, their handling of our case led to disastrous consequences.

The solicitors representing the other company managed to secure a CCJ against us by default, despite presenting questionable paperwork. Altion Law advised us to challenge the case on the basis that the documents were unreadable. We followed their guidance, but the case dragged on, and after the CCJ was issued, we had 28 days to pay to have it removed.

I specifically asked whether we should pay it off first and fight it afterward. Altion Law strongly advised against it, saying that doing so would be seen as admitting liability. Instead, we followed their advice and proceeded with the court case. When we finally had our day in court, the judge immediately ruled against us, stating that we had no grounds to challenge the claim.

We later sought a second opinion from another barrister, who told us outright that we never should have pursued the case in the first place. As guarantors, we were always going to be held liable—something Altion Law should have made clear from the outset. Had we been given proper advice, we would have paid the amount within the 28-day period and avoided a CCJ.

Now, over a year later, this CCJ has had a severe impact on both our personal and business lives, making it incredibly difficult to operate. All of this could have been avoided if we had been given competent legal advice from the start. A truly devastating experience, and one I would not wish upon anyone.

We always turn to Anthony when we're having issues with Construction clients and debt recovery. His knowledge of the construction industry is the reason we use him as we don't have to simplify our situation and his knowledge around construction contracts is second to none. We have never had an issue retrieving unpaid invoices once we get Altion Law involved. Highly Recommended and always our first choice.

Altion was able to help us in our application for the AWRS scheme. This application was heavy and having a team like Altion to guide us was very beneficial. They helped us build a solid case and acquire the B2B license as quickly as possible.
