AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - Melanie Morris should not be in any sort of client facing role she is extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL and clearly does not know how to deal with people. Rachael Murphy also attempted to black mail me not to make a complaint. I was only using these as they are on the panel of the lender for a property I am buying. Listen to the other reviews and save yourself the hassle. Report to the SRA!!!

Pretty poor service all around.
They delayed my property purchase until it fell through.
Then issued an invoice 10 months later despite previously emailing to say the matter was closed.
Called to settle invoice and they mentioned another £70 that they had forgot to include in their 'final' invoice.

I have dealt with Bermans twice recently, the first for the sale of my business in October 2023 where Nathan and the team were brilliant and in June 2024 for the purchase of a property where Rachael was amazing. I have no hesitation in recommending Bermans to anyone.

This firm contacted me recently to chase fees, from 2 years ago, for a purchase that was aborted. They insisted on searches prior to a mortgage offer. In my experience, and respectfully, this is basic stuff, most firms wait until finance is arranged. Anyway, they are now touch demanding fees. Naturally, I asked for records of this from a Lewis Sharp, it took 7 emails going back and forth over 5 months to show proof of the firms insistence that searches begin. Pretty poor service in my opinion for a matter that could have been resolved so much sooner. Again, I would emplore the representatives of this firm focus on basic communication.

Cant recommend enough. I dealt with Rachael and she answered all my queries quickly and persistently chased everything up from the other party to help get everything sorted
