Avoid these people, I was sent a letter by Alex Loxton as a result I tried to commit suicide. When I phoned to tell her of this the lady couldn't care less, I have reported her to The Institute of Legal Executives and was very distressed they agreed her conduct was inappropriate.

Very poor I have a valid medical negilgence claim I've proof the firm clearly wasn't interested why do they advertise a service they can't adhere to ?

Just called in and spoke to a lady in reception who i could hardly hear. I asked her name and she refused to give it. She said that reception is 'adequate'. She seemed rude, irritated and not the kind of person you should have on reception.

Appalling service, I am not surprised by the terrible reviews I read here. All read very familiar to the experience we had. Devonshire's Solicitors were used for the sale of my house. A simple cash buy, no chain sale was delayed and halted at every step of the way and the reason was always because this company had not actioned what was required.
DS failed on 3 agreed completion dates, on each day we had absolute radio silence from the company then at the very end of the day we would get a short email saying no more detail than "we aren't ready". Every survey, every payment, every box ticked had to be chased and nudged. I genuinely believe if we hadn't been chasing day in day out this company would forget it's clients exist and nothing would happen. We have had an extremely difficult sale. I have spent well over £1000 on storage, van hire and hotels that have all had to be booked last minute on accounts of this company confirming they were ready to exchange and complete, only to ignore us on completion day and drag the process out even longer. I understand there is a level of timing and box ticking to be done in these exchanges, however it is the radio silence and complete lack of communication or regard for schedules/agreed dates that caused so much difficulty during this time.

This is a horrific law firm. The Access to Justice foundation recommended them. The firm deny people justice in support of Goliath organisations. Never again!
