Worst experience I have ever had using a Solicitors. Endless delays caused by Hall Reynolds and continuously passed around incompetent staff. Katy was incredibly difficult to deal with and I felt she was insensitive and very passive aggressive throughout. Please explore other options before hiring Hall Reynolds.

Unfortunately not the best experience, similar to some other low score reviews around the conveyancing service. As they were the minority I was optimistic, but…
Poor overall approach to the customer experience. Outdated ways of working, required chasing a number of times and sometimes more than once. Very little proactive communication, so did not feel up to date with stages in process, potential dates or status of the move. Retained my proceeds for 24 hours - when I asked in advance what the process was I was told ‘well we do have 14 days to get it to you but we try to do it on the same day’. This sums up their approach to me - not at all with the customer in mind and not reasonable in a digital world.
If their fees were rock bottom this could be understandable, but they’re not. I wanted to support a local firm, hoping for an efficient, caring service, but felt as though I could have been dealing with one of the many online conveyancers at half the price, as I got the stereotypical ‘lawyer service’.
They didn’t do anything wrong, the sale went through and I received my funds, but the process felt slow, clunky, outdated and designed for them not me.
Also interesting that they don’t ask for feedback and only reply to the positive reviews on here! Don’t want to listen to and act on constructive feedback?
Won’t use again, can’t recommend.

I have used Hall Reynolds for both employment matters and Wills / LPAs and I have always found them to be very helpful and responsive. They explain / deal with things in a very clear and pragmatic way, unlike some solicitors I have dealt with!
