William Chalk has been dealing with my uncle's uncomplicated estate since 2017. When my aunt declined and progress stopped, I contacted the firm in 2020 and they were unable to find any trace of his estate. I did manage to find details of who we'd met and when myself.
Since then William has usually taken three to six months to reply, and still hasn't given a clear explanation of the delay. In 2024 I made an internal complaint and communication improved briefly, but there's been no response from William since September 2024.
Without an explanation it seems unrealistic that a simple estate should take five years to complete.
