Went in to have statutory declaration witnessed. Their people skills were seriously lacking in the way we were spoken down to. They didn’t like being questioned when we politely queried the costs and gave a very poor explanation why the cost was so much higher than the standard suggested by The Law Society. The response was, this is what we charge, if you don’t like it go elsewhere. Need to work on manners and customer service. They may be very technical competent, but what we required took two minutes and wasn’t challenging.

I am unable to respond to your reply, I have to correct you and say that the cost information provided over the phone was, depends what you want witnessing. My concern isn’t the cost so much as I went ahead and got my document witnessed. It is more about the attitude that was shown by the gentleman we saw initially.
