Weightmans LLP are attempting to undermine the ECHR, and the basic constitutional rights of all. Using overly technical legal arguments against those without a solicitor because they know that all the lawyers that work on actions against the police are at capacity. It is misconduct to attempt to use the law in technical ways as they see fit to undermine laws that underpin it all when they know full well what’s going on. Total disgrace

AVOID AT ALL COST
I rarely leave reviews. But in this case, I'll make an exception. Weightmans is weighty indeed - managing to achieve a rather delicate balance between sheer neglect & outright duplicity.
Who could balance the scales in such an inglorious manner? A whole litany of let-downs could be catalogued - from spectacular absenteeism in comms, to adventurous billing (3x the industry norm for standard procedures I'm told by experts), but I won't elaborate here. Of course, this is only my view, based on first-hand experience.

Woeful, profoundly unprofessional, bordering on hostile.
Our experience with Matthew Jones, Principal Associate, can best be described as him mostly ignoring us, then charging us an exorbitant amount of money for mostly ignoring us.
If you don’t fancy paying £6500 to be mostly ignored, go elsewhere. Even by the low standard of their profession (there are some exceptions dear reader), these guys take the biscuit. Frankly, I look forward to the day (not too far now), when these mundane legal transactions will be done by a bot, even if the AI revolution ultimately ends in Armageddon. At least I’ll expire having not had to deal with Weightmans again. Which will be comforting in those final moments.

Awful solicitors, some of their emails border on bullying. Unethical solicitors who don't follow SRA guidelines. Panorama needs to investigate this law firm. Read their Trust Pilot reviews and avoid them at all costs.
