Dumbfoundingly they don't pick up the case load of their vacationing colleagues. I don't know of any other business in my 22 years of employment that operates in this way.

Firms of solicitors are of course made of the people that work in them. So, to taint the entire company would be unfair.

However, we had the misfortune of dealing with Damian Carter and Jessica Kraja of the Manchester office for a number of years, whilst they represented Andrew Pilley; he's now in prison serving a 13-year stretch for fraud - Google what he did.

It is our complaint that Damian Carter was (allegedly) involved in the concealment of evidence, data breaches and generally misleading the court. This is a complaint which has been made to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority and the High Court - the outcome pending.

Reports of the conduct complained of have been reported to the Head of Regulation and Data Controller at Weightmans, but I am afraid, there does seem to be (on the face of it) more of an interest covering up Damian Carter's (alleged) misconduct and the embarrassment of Weightmans representing Andrew Pilley - rather than dealing with the legitimate concerns raised.

Ultimately, Carter and Kraja will be taken to task through Contempt proceedings in the High Court, and the SRA and ICO have been made aware.

Make of this review what you will - but Google is also you friend :)

Weightmans LLP solicitors should not be used. I have experienced them directly lying in court and inventing evidence which is not there. They also will laugh and joke amongst themselves whilst the Judge and others are speaking, which makes a mockery of the UK Courts and Tribunals Service. Please I do urge you to find a more responsible legal services provider

Any Solicitor firm Helping Clarion Housing Association Needs to know they've degraded themselves!! The worst housing association in Britain!!
Helping Clarion Violate and Distress their tenants, it's disgusting!!
Clarion have a sickening reputation and have been on the news muliple times, they put and keep tenants in homes that are unsafe, unhygenic and unlivable it's INHUMANE and they're perfectly aware of the suffering and mental breakdown they put families through, Thanks to Weighmans lovely Solicitors for contributing to Clarions lies and distressing behaviour.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Weightmans LLP to draft terms and conditions for our business. Sumaira Choudary was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and was able to provide us with the best advice for our particular situation. She was also very responsive and accommodating to our requests, and were able to provide a comprehensive set of terms and conditions that met our needs. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced solicitor.
